The conformer with acrylic base and 3D-printed fingers create a stable, adjustable tool for capturing a customer’s individual head size and shape. Stainless steel hardware supports repeated workshop use, while each movable finger follows the natural contours of the head for more accurate custom hat fitting.

Unlike a standard circumference measurement, this hat conformer records the complete head outline. Once the fingers are adjusted, the wing nuts lock them securely in position so the captured shape can be transferred onto paper.

The paper outline can then be traced onto a wooden board and cut out to create a custom sizing form. This form may be used for stretching, shaping, and fitting a hat to the customer’s exact head contour.
